My Inspirational Journals: Welcome

My Inspirational Journals:

Get what you want through Journaling.

Whether you’ve journaled before or not, I hope to give you plenty of both inspiration and information to  get you writing down the happenings in your life.  The benefits are amazing both to you and often to others in your life.

  • Journaling can save and preserve memories.
  • Journaling can heal.
  • And journaling can help you get what you want out of life.
  • Or it can do all three simultaneously.

Do you know of anything else that can do that? Totally free? Whenever you feel like it? That is calorie-free, environmentally friendly and one size fits all?

(You can, if you prefer, listen to this welcome below…)

Here I’d like to tell you more about the uniqueness of the journals available on this site, but if you prefer, please consider first checking out the “Posts to Inspire You” listed on the right of your screen below the currently Featured Journals ->

And click to read “Manifest through Journaling“.

I hope you will find something to appeal to you there.

Yes, journaling in general is wonderful and I wholeheartedly encourage you to do so. But the journals you will find here are different.

How? Looking through a bookstore you find journals with pretty covers and a blank notebook inside. That’s it.

I decided there could be more. More inspiration. More fun. More helpful ways of tracking, at a later date, where you wrote what. So I came up with My Inspirational Journals.

Watch “Quotations for Journaling” Video (6 mins)

(Some of the journals now have updated covers and a slight change of title, but all are still Inspirational Quotation Journals as mentioned in the video)

The reason these Journals are different is…

  • There is a motivational, inspirational or entertaining quote on every left hand page, leaving the right hand pages for you to write on.
  • (except with the Lefties journal which is reversed for comfortable left handed writing.)
  • There is a little rating gauge at the bottom of each page so you can decide to give your day your chosen number of stars, suns or whatever the theme of your particular journal might be.
  • There’s an index at the back of each journal where you can mark down the page number and a short note of what you wrote, for easy access to entries or quotes you want to be able to find again. Yes, the pages are numbered for this very reason.

So, yes, these are journals, waiting for you to write in them what you will. But they have “extras” to make them of more value to you, give you more encouragement and to bring the occasional smile to your face.

They’re terrific for you. And they make wonderful gifts – even if the recipient decides not to journal, they still have a great book of quotes… and as they read the quotes maybe the lined pages will call to them and they will start to write…

I have added some other journals too which are personalized based on birthdays, for example the Birth Flower Journals, with their gorgeous flowers and colors. These are suitable for both focused journaling and general journaling.

Or if you would like to find out more about journaling and our Journals on Video (with some quotes thrown in to inspire you as you watch), please type “Video” into the search box at the top right of the screen and you will find all our videos in one place.

The whole concept behind targeted journaling is that whatever you choose to focus on expands in your consciousness. So by focusing on the positives in any area of life,  you keep more positive even through difficulties. You also come to understand situations and people more clearly as you write out both happenings and feelings.

When you journal about good things happening, you focus on them and create more of the same for yourself.  And reading the quotes on each page will inspire you even more.

Watch “Journaling Can Help You Achieve What You Want Easily and Successfully” Video (6 mins)

When misfortunes happen, by journaling you get a more detailed, more incisive view of the situation which assists you in making better decisions.

No matter where you are in life, no matter what you are doing, no matter what is happening around you, journaling helps.

The journals you will find here are intended “targeted” journaling, that is journaling on a particular area of life. “Free journaling”, which is journaling about life in general is good also, but here we are focusing on specific topics.

The reason for that is that by writing on just one topic you get a better feel for it. If it’s a happy topic, you will feel more joy. If it is a topic area in which you presently have a problem, it can help you find solutions.

With a title like “My Inspirational Journals” I feel it appropriate to start you off with a few short, inspirational quotes (just to get you in the mood.) Here they are:

It is a pleasure to be able to quote lines to fit any occasion…~Abraham Lincoln

A quote is just a tattoo on the tongue. ~Attributed to William F. DeVault

Many useful and valuable books lie buried in shops and libraries, unknown and unexamined, unless some lucky compiler opens them by chance, and finds an easy spoil of wit and learning. ~Samuel Johnson, 1760

I love quotes and I love journalling. If you do too, you have come to the right place.

Journalling has long been recognized as an extremely effective tool to help us better understand ourselves, others and our lives in general.

And quotes bring the wisdom of others to help us in this task.

So by bringing the two together, journalling and quotes, we have twice the power to make the very best of who we are and of our potential.

All current videos are here.

I am working hard to create an entire series of Inspirational Journals.  Please contact me if you have a suggestions you’d like me to use for one.
